Sequential AI is a music AI startup incubated at SUTD, backed by gap funding. We are building text-to-mastering solutions for musicians, turning research innovations in generative AI into tools that artists can actually use.

This is a founding role: you will be the only full-time hire on the company side, driving both business and product strategy, and working closely with the PI and senior research team.

What You’ll Do
- Lead the go-to-market strategy: define product positioning, pricing, launch plans, and early adoption campaigns
- Connect with musicians, producers, studios, and labels to validate ideas and secure pilots
- Shape the product roadmap by translating research prototypes into usable, market-ready tools
- Handle early-stage operations and build processes for future growth
- Collaborate with researchers and engineers to make AI tools that actually sound and feel great
- Oversee/coordinate web implementations and deployments
- Help secure follow up funding in 12 months

Who You Are
- Singapore Citizen or PR (ideally)
- Passionate about music and audio technology; ideally with industry connections
- Comfortable taking full ownership in a fast-moving, early-stage venture
- Able to engage directly with users and partners to understand needs and translate them into product

Bonus Skills (optional)
- Familiarity with generative AI / audio ML
- Experience with web UI or full-stack development
- Background in music production, mastering, or DAW workflows
